We'll plan the location, timing, lighting, where you need to stand, where I'll be hiding, and all those tiny details that make the surprise actually work. Then you get to focus on the important part: asking the question 💍
I'll secretly photograph the proposal as it happens, capture all those first HOLY COW WE'RE ENGAGED! moments afterward, and then we'll roll right into a mini engagement session while you're both still riding that just-engaged high.
You worry about the ring and what you're going to say, and I'll worry about capturing that 'YES!' moment ❤️
The Process:
1. Tell Me Your Plan... Or Lack of One 😂
Already know exactly where and how you're proposing? Perfect. Have absolutely no clue? Also perfect. Tell me about the two of you and we'll start brainstorming!
2. We Plan the Surprise 💍
Location, timing, lighting, excuses for getting them there, where you'll stand, where I'll hide—we'll work through all of it so you aren't winging it with a diamond ring in your pocket!
3. Ask the Question ❤️
I'll already be in position when you arrive. You focus on your person while I quietly photograph the entire thing unfolding.
4. YOU'RE ENGAGED!! 🎉
Once they've said yes and you've both remembered how to breathe 😂 we'll transition into a mini engagement session and photograph those first just-engaged moments.

YES!! That's one of my favorite parts! You don't need to come to me with an elaborate plan already figured out. If all you've accomplished so far is buying the ring, we're doing great 😉

We'll even figure out exactly where you need to stand and where I'll be hiding. Basically, we'll eliminate as many opportunities for proposal-day panic as possible 😂
There are SO many possibilities! ❤️ The perfect proposal location depends on the two of you and the kind of experience you want. We can do something outdoors surrounded by nature, somewhere downtown, at a beautiful garden, near the water, at a location that's meaningful to your relationship, or somewhere completely unexpected. YES!! Eureka Springs is one of my favorite places for a proposal, and I even wrote a blog about it!
Between the winding downtown streets, gorgeous overlooks, historic buildings, lakes, woods, and all the quirky little corners tucked around town, there are SO many ways to make a Eureka Springs proposal feel completely different from anyone else's.
There are also iconic spots like Thorncrown Chapel and the 1886 Crescent Hotel, I always love the Basin Park Hotel! And if you're visiting Eureka Springs for a romantic weekend and have NO idea where to actually pop the question? That's where I come in!

I won't immediately jump out, I'll photograph those first hugs, tears, laughs, ring checks, and all the little reactions immediately after the proposal 🥰.
Once you've had a minute to actually process what just happened, we'll roll into a mini engagement session so you leave with beautiful portraits of the two of you while you're still glowing from getting engaged!
Absolutely!! Whether you want your families hiding nearby, your best friends waiting to celebrate afterward, your kids involved in the actual proposal, or your dog carrying the ring—we can plan around it! Just remember: every additional person is another person who has to keep the secret 😂 We've had a few private proposals that immediately went into a surprise proposal party to celebrate with everyone ~ Now that's fun!!
