Before your session, we’ll meet in person or virtually to talk about your vision, outfits, locations, who you want to include, and anything special you’d like to incorporate.
Your maternity session lasts about an hour. We can photograph in the studio, go on-location, or do a little of both. I’ll guide you through posing and everything else, so your only job is to show up and look gorgeous!
About 7–10 days later, you’ll come back to the studio for the reveal! We’ll go through everything, choose your favorites, and decide which images you want to keep and how you want to enjoy them.
I’ll finish everything up and get your images and artwork ready for you! Digital images are delivered quickly, while custom albums, prints, and wall art generally take a few more weeks.

For most moms, I recommend scheduling maternity photos somewhere around 28–34 weeks. Your bump is usually nice and round by then, but you're hopefully still comfortable enough to move around and enjoy your session!
Every pregnancy is different, though. If you're expecting multiples, have a history of delivering early, or simply want to document a smaller bump, we may want to schedule a little earlier.

Depending on the look you want, that might mean a flowy maternity dress, something fitted that really shows off your bump, jeans and a bra for a more casual look, or something a little more intimate for maternity boudoir.
You can also bring multiple looks so we can create some variety. Once you're booked, we'll plan your outfits together based on your style, location, and the overall feel you want for your photos. By the way, I have a client closet you can borrow from 🥰
Of Course!! Your maternity session can absolutely include your partner, older kiddos, and even your fur babies. Some of my favorite maternity photos aren't just of Mom—they're the ones showing everyone loving on that baby before they've even met them.
This completely depends on the look you want! We can photograph your maternity session in the studio or on location around Springfield and Southwest Missouri. Think fields at sunset, flowers, lakes, downtown architecture, something more dramatic in the studio—or even your own home if that's where you feel most comfortable.
I also photograph maternity sessions around Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Branson and beyond, and I'm always up for traveling somewhere beautiful. In fact, I went to Hawaii for a week to document one of my favorite couples' pregnancy 🥰
Maternity photography experiences begin at $600, and your $600 investment becomes a credit toward the photographs and artwork you love most! You can use your credit toward 10 digital images with a matching professionally printed and matted photograph of each, or put it toward a custom album, wall art, or other heirloom pieces.
You don't have to decide what you want before we take a single photo! After your session, we'll meet back at the studio, see your images for the first time, and I'll help you choose your favorites and decide what you want to take home ❤️
